Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot send kids to camp on Kawagama Lake. Instead, this summer we will Send Camp to Kids through our new virtual programs.
Moorelands Kids is responding to the huge increase in kid’s anxiety and to the distress caused by physical distancing with nimble speed. We are constantly generating engaging and supportive virtual programming that keeps kids safe, connected and growing; plus we still have many fixed costs we need to cover to ensure camp in summer 2021 comes back better than ever! We all have unique strengths to share and there are different ways you can help send camp to kids! Please consider becoming an online SAK (Send a Kid to Camp) fundraiser and share your special skills to help kids this summer.

Why not try one of these fun challenges to raise money to Send Camp to Kids and boost our chances to win $20,000?
- Virtual Charity Run or Challenge – Get active and get fundraising by taking part in a virtual 5k or marathon! Not a runner? Try another challenge – for example, commit to doing a number of push-ups, planks, or climbing flights of stairs for every $10 raised;
- Readathon – Read, relax and raise money! Pledge to read a certain number of books and ask your friends to donate by books/pages completed;
- Donations In Lieu of Birthday gifts – Consider asking your loved ones to make their birthday gift to you a donation to help send a kid to camp!
