The countdown is on! After two summers of virtual camp, Moorelands Camp welcomes campers back to Kawagama Lake IN PERSON on July 4th.
To celebrate the kick-off of another exciting summer filled with fun and leadership, Moorelands hosted a “Countdown to Camp” contest. We asked our kids to draw, paint or craft an image of what they are most looking forward to doing at camp this year – perhaps it’s singing under a starry sky, roasting marshmallows with friends, or canoeing on Kawagama Lake – all for a chance to win a BIG prize: four tickets to the Art Gallery of Ontario AND a Pizza Nova gift card. What is better than art and pizza?
And the winner is… J.T! Check out J.T’s art of her reuniting with and making new friends at camp.
“The thing I like about camp is that I get to meet new people,” says J.T. “Even though I don’t get to see them the entire year, a lot of my friends pick the same sessions, so I know I’ll see them at camp next year.”
We can’t wait to see everyone back at Kawagama Lake this summer, too!
