With Honesty Comes Trust

After a session spent exploring the meaning of honesty, we asked our kids in Moorelands BLAST (Budding Leaders After -School Team) why it is important to them. Here’s what they said:

“Telling the truth makes your life easier because you don’t have to lie. Lying is never the answer.”

– Harry, age 10

“If one person shows honesty the people around them will start to be honest too.”

– Maryam, aged 11

“Honesty is important because it means that somebody is telling the truth about something and you can trust them.”

– Tyler, aged 8

.

“When I was playing at the gym and being honest and kind it made me feel great like I’m a good and honest person.”

– Callie, aged 9.

“Being honest is good because if you show honesty you can make more friends.”

– Ali, aged 9.

“Honesty is important to me because it makes games fair and it makes me feel good.”

– Adil, aged 6.
