In this extraordinary year, we’ve all been forced to make changes in our lives. Our routines are upset, our family life impacted, and all those daily tasks we took for granted thrown into disarray. Perhaps cruelest of all, we’ve had to practice social distancing at a time we most needed to connect with each other and with our community.
The need to pull together and help one another in challenging times is undeniable. And over the past months we, at Moorelands Kids, have found and developed new ways to be a community as we work to keep vulnerable local kids resilient and strong!
In your myMoorelands, you’ll read about the impact of Moorelands Kids’ online summer programming, Mooreland Camp Lead On: a program that connected kids to staff and each other, and where our leadership Habits & Qualities helped build their resiliency. As fall returns, a child’s learning and development must continue.
If you choose to act now, it will.
With your help we can reach more vulnerable children with our virtual programs and support more of our campers with after-school BLAST programs (where geography made that impossible in the past.)
Our Moorelands Kids’ Virtual After-School Programming will keep kids learning and growing because you choose to make our work possible.
