DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT TODAY
Moorelands Kids needs YOUR help this #GivingTuesday!
On our property on Kawagama Lake, but a 30-minute hike from the main camp, we have a large cabin called Junior Cookout. Despite the name, it’s used by all 700 of our campers to provide shelter on campouts, cookouts and other camp adventures during inclement weather.
In 2015, major beams supporting the building rotted through and left the building sagging and unsafe for the children to use. There is now no shelter or program space to use in the ‘out-tripping’ lands set aside for camp…
We want to transform Junior Cookout into a Multi-Purpose Program Space in spring 2020 so that campers of all ages can enjoy shelter and wilderness adventures for many years to come. To do this, we need to raise $67,000!
To help us meet our goal, our wonderful friends at the Harold E. Ballard Foundation are matching all gifts made towards the project on GivingTuesday – December 3rd up to $20,000
have a great year
