At Moorelands Camp, we believe in the transformative power of experience, leadership, and growth. Kids discover so much more about themselves as they learn essential leadership skills.

Take Stephanie, known as “Ice.” Starting as a camper, she gained confidence and leadership abilities that helped to shape her journey. Now, as a staff leader, she reflects, “Moorelands has given me so much confidence and opportunities I wouldn’t have pursued otherwise.”

Then there’s Kyle, or “Shades.” Joining us at age eight, Kyle participated in numerous camp activities, and learned that true leadership is about service – helping others reach their potential.

These stories highlight the lasting impact of Moorelands Camp. When you send a child to Moorelands Camp, you are giving them the opportunity to discover their strengths, learn essential life skills, and become a leader in their communities.

Send a Kid to Moorelands Camp and make a lasting impact on their future!

In 2024, we were excited to bring back Project DIVE, a unique experience offered to 96 campers. This program elevates kids’ leadership skills, deepens their personal growth, and forges a stronger connection to the Moorelands’ community. This year, we are excited to continue Project DIVE as a yearly curriculum.

“Project DIVE was a different experience for me with more leadership opportunities. I really liked how we got more choices, especially for campout.” – Elsie, Moorelands Camper

Logan joined the camping world in 2016, and her passion for helping kids grow led her to Moorelands Camp as a Section Head in the summer of 2024.

Having held previous roles such as Arts and Athletics Director and Schools and Groups Program Coordinator, Logan brings valuable experience and skills to Moorelands Camp. With certifications in Level 2 Ropes Course Instructing and Youth Mental Health First Aid, she is definitely a valuable addition to camp in her new role as Assistant Camp Director.

Welcome Logan!

Your generous investment provides an incredible opportunity for vulnerable kids to develop life and leadership skills, while unplugging from digital devices and the challenges of the city. A week in nature at Moorelands Camp can be a life-changing experience for at-risk kids.
