Moorelands Camp
Every summer Moorelands Camp offers kids the chance to reach their goals, boost their confidence, and create lasting memories on Kawagama Lake experiencing adventures in nature and around the campfire.
In the summer of 2024, we were excited to bring back Project Dive, a unique experience offered to campers who demonstrate a strong desire to develop their leadership. The program has campers participate in activities to elevate their leadership skills, deepen their personal growth, and forge a stronger connection to the Moorelands’ community.

With a majority of new staff and campers, we were eager to see how the Moorelands Camp culture would evolve and how our growth goals and objectives would unfold. In welcoming new additions, one thing remained clear:

For many of the staff, their summer at camp was life-changing. One story that truly exemplifies the Moorelands spirit is that of Vinyl, who joined the staff team in 2024 after transitioning from camper to staff over the course of seven years. Vinyl’s journey is a reflection of transformative growth that Moorelands fosters year after year. Vinyl’s story is just one of many that highlight the profound impact Moorelands Camp has on its community, a growth that lasts well beyond the summer season.
City Programs

Moorelands City programs provide opportunities for growth, allowing participants to develop essential life skills and leadership abilities throughout the year.
In 2024, Moorelands City programs served 265 children and youth in the City of Toronto. As Moorelands continues to evolve, our City Programs play a key role in supporting kids in the City of Toronto, offering a space for personal development and community involvement.
Our programs, led by a team of highly trained, dedicated staff and volunteers, are designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children and youth can realize their potential to succeed. Our impactful experiential leadership learning programs instill the confidence and resilience needed to achieve their unique potential.
Looking ahead, Moorelands City programs will continue to empower children and youth by offering opportunities for kids to develop personal leadership skills and tools through our quality City Programs.
Family Programs
Holiday Sharing
In 2024, Moorelands Kids remained deeply committed to fostering meaningful community connections and providing essential support through our Holiday Sharing program. Last year, the program had a direct impact on 248 families, offering vital assistance during the holiday season.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, staff, and volunteers, we were able to deliver a wide range of support, ensuring that families experienced the joy and warmth of the season.
These contributions underscore the core values of Moorelands Kids—compassion, generosity, and community—and demonstrate the powerful impact we can make when we come together. The collective care shared through these efforts continues to resonate in the lives of those we serve. We are proud of the meaningful difference made in the lives of individuals and families throughout our community.
Spring Fling and Festi-Fall 2024
In 2024, Moorelands Kids proudly hosted two community events: Spring Fling and Festi-Fall. While these events took place in different seasons, they both embodied he same spirit of connection, joy, and celebration, offering a variety of engaging activities for families, children, and volunteers.
Together, these events attracted over 300 attendees, creating a vibrant, inclusive environment where everyone could come together to enjoy the season. These events not only provided a chance for the community to connect but also reinforced the values of Moorelands Kids – community, inclusion, and togetherness.
