KawagaMonster Lakefest
PLEASE JOIN US IN SENDING KIDS TO CAMP THIS SUMMER!

We have had our cottage next to Moorelands Camp on Kawagama Lake for the last 23 years and have always enjoyed being neighbors! We love hearing the kids chant and sing in the mornings in the mess hall and along the trails behind us or while they are canoeing across the lake.
We are excited to host our 3rd Annual Fundraiser, the KawagaMonster Lakefest, featuring the band Midlife Chaos. Get your boat and join us for some Barge Rock in front of our cottage on Kawagama Lake to raise money for the Send a Kid to Camp (SAK) initiative!
It costs $1,780 to send one kid to camp at Moorelands, and not every child has access to this opportunity. That’s why SAK is so important.
Help Kathleen with her goal of sending 10 kids to camp by donating to the fundraiser!

SEND A KID TO CAMP!
Please join me in contributing to Moorelands Kids’ Send-a-Kid to Camp Campaign. It costs $1650 to send a kid to camp, but any amount you choose to give will make a difference. Our goal is to raise enough money to send 10 kids to Moorelands Camp.

About Moorelands Camp
Moorelands Kids is built on the foundation that every child, regardless of their economic circumstances, has the right to succeed in life. This purpose is brought to life by providing kids from Toronto who face economic barriers with the opportunity to spend a week at Moorelands Camp, forming friendships and memories, surrounded by the beauty of Kawagama Lake.
Swimming, canoeing, music, kayaking, archery, ropes courses, arts and crafts and overnight tripping… the spirit of the wilderness! And build into all this fun are character and leadership lessons – communication, teamwork, problem solving and goal setting – the development of skills necessary for life success.
