Give Toronto Kids the Happiness Factor!
Help Kids Get Back to Happy
Today’s youth are more stressed and anxious than ever. In fact, Toronto has a rapidly growing youth mental health crisis, with hospitalizations doubling due to mental health needs over this last decade alone. Studies show those from low-income backgrounds are much more likely to experience poor mental health. [1] Financial need in children affects so much more than the pocketbook.
We URGENTLY need your help. Please support our Happiness Factor Appeal — 100 of our most vulnerable kids remain without your support as we face our year-end. Their need is clear. Our need for your help this season is great.
The impact of technology on the developing brain is well documented. The impact of social isolation is profound.
We offer a tech-free environment [2] in all our programs, and the tools kids need to overcome the many mental health challenges that arise when you lack connection to peers and mentors. We call this the Moorelands Kids Happiness Factor. For us, saying no to these vulnerable children just isn’t an option.
Please help us raise the remaining $117,500 we need to end the year with all 2019 kids fully supported.
Your support now gives children and youth the chance to make meaningful, in-person friendships and develop new skills in a supportive environment.
Please join us. Make a donation and give kids the Happiness Factor!
