Anita’s Send a Kid to Camp Fundraiser
PLEASE JOIN ME IN SENDING KIDS IN NEED TO SUMMER CAMP THIS YEAR:
As many of you know, I sit on the Board of Moorelands Kids, a charity dedicated to providing summer camp and after school programs to kids and families facing economic challenges. Our overnight summer camp on Lake Kawagama is a week away from the city in a safe, caring, positive environment focusing on new friends, leadership development, and having FUN! I hope you will join with me to make summer camp possible this year for as many kids as possible. To make it even more impactful, Rob and I will match all donations raised in our personal “send a kid to camp” campaign up to $10,000. The cost per child per week is $1,650 and any donation amount will help and will be much appreciated.

This purpose is brought to life by providing kids from Toronto who face economic barriers with the opportunity to spend a week at Moorelands Camp, forming friendships and memories, surrounded by the beauty of Kawagama Lake.
Swimming, canoeing, music, kayaking, archery, ropes courses, arts and crafts and overnight tripping… the spirit of the wilderness! And built into all this fun are character and leadership lessons – communication, teamwork, problem solving and goal setting – the development of skills necessary for life success.
