WISH LIST FAMILIES
Moorelands Kids’ Wish List Families is a new initiative offering individuals, families or groups the opportunity to support local families living closer to Moorelands Camp, helping to create a more inclusive community during the holiday season.
Holiday Sharing programs help create a more inclusive community for the families we serve. This new initiative extends that same sense of connection, care, and belonging to families located geographically outside of the GTA.
While the initiative is new, our intention remains the same: to enable families to feel connected to a community that cares through the holiday season.
Through your generosity, you can help make the holiday season brighter by providing thoughtful gifts that reflect each child’s age, as well as providing financial support for parents through grocery gift cards.
As the families supported through this initiative live outside Toronto, you will be organizing and shopping for your wish list digitally through Amazon! Your support helps us bring the spirit of giving to life during this holiday season as you make a tangible difference for families in need. No matter where you are located, you can be part of making the holidays more joyful and memorable for the children and families connected to Moorelands Kids.
If you are interested in participating, please contact us at info@moorelands.ca. We will provide you with further information about the family you will be supporting, including the children’s ages and family gift-giving choices, as well as guidelines to follow.
By taking part in the Wish List Families initiative, you can show children and their families that they are valued and supported by a caring community, even from a distance. Together, we can help ensure that more families who struggle financially, can celebrate this special time of year knowing they are part of the Moorelands Community!
