    Toronto's Vital Signs Released October 4th, 2011
    The Toronto Community Foundation researches and reports on Toronto's quality of life in its annual Toronto's Vital Signs Report. It is a consolidated snapshot of the trends in our city, highlighting progress we should be proud of and challenges that need to be addressed.

    The Report is compiled from current statistics and special studies which look at eleven different, yet interconnected, issue areas that are critical to the well-being of our city and its residents.

Highlights from 2010
A Marathon for Moorelands

32 board members, staff, family and friends ran, walked and "wheeled" for Moorelands in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon on Sunday, September 26. John Offutt ran a full marathon, Stephanie Rose, Laura Kim and Nicanor Kang completed half-marathons, and the remaining participants finished the 5K charity challenge.

We DID get noticed! Dressed in the brightest colours to represent our tagline "Helping Kids Shape Brighter Futures", the Moorelands City Slickers were not to be missed. And in the process we raised $15,000! A big thank you to our many sponsors!

McCarthy Tétrault LLP Beach Volleyball Tournament has future Legal Eagles soaring well beyond Fundraising Target!

Over the summer months you will find the articling law students hard at work in many Toronto law firms. You can also find some of them hard at play...in the courts. Beach volleyball courts to be precise, raising funds through the McCarthy Tétrault LLP Annual Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament.
