About Moorelands City Summer Day Camp
Moorelands City Summer Day Camp is for children and youth aged 6 -14 living in the communities of
Flemingdon Park and Thorncliffe Park. Campers participate in a variety of intentional activities including
arts crafts, games, sports, drama, cooking, science and swimming. Campers also go on weekly field
trips to various locations around Toronto. Breakfast and snack are provided to the campers.

Moorelands City Summer Day Camp runs out of Grenoble PS on 9 Grenoble Dr.
The City Summer Day Camp runs from July 5th – August 20th from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm for a total of 7
Sessions.
Day Camp Sessions are:
Session 1 July 5 – July 8
Session 2 July 11 – July 15
Session 3 July 18 – July 22
Session 4 July 25 – July 29
Session 5 August 2 – August 5
Session 6 August 8 – August 12
Session 7 August 15 – August 19
What is my role as a volunteer?
As a City Summer Day Camp volunteer you will play an important role in providing a safe and caring
environment for Moorelands' campers.
Some of your responsibilities include:
How many days/weeks can I volunteer for?
You can join the Moorelands City Summer Day Camp for, one, two, three OR all seven sessions. The
choice is yours!
Do I receive volunteer hours?
Yes! Each volunteer will receive a letter describing their role and responsibilities at Moorelands City
Summer Day Camp with the total amount of hours they have volunteered.
How do I become a Moorelands City Summer Day Camp Volunteer?

This is mandatory if you are planning to volunteer this summer.
